About Christ Community
Prayer is our foundation. We believe in the gospel of Jesus
Christ. We believe reconciliation comes through forgiveness, for without
love we are nothing. The scripture is our sole authority. We
believe in the accountability developed in and through small groups. We strive
not to be a stumbling block to other believers. We believe that each
person should give what is decided in their heart. The church is a
place of refuge. We believe in family worship and that each believer is
a vital part of the body of Christ. Our vision is to be a church growing
closer to God through worship and His Word, and closer to each other by
walking in fellowship and winning the lost.
We are a church plant in 1996 by First Baptist Church in Hendersonville.
About the Pastor
Married to Amy, one child, Nathan, born in December 1999. Master of
Divinity-Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Served as pastor since
1997. Lived in WNC since 1978.
