Ebenezer will be having a tent revival, September 12-17, 2010. CARE PILLOWS-Care pillows is a new ministry for children who are in a traumatic situation.  They are given to the police department, fire department and emergency medical technicians to give to children as the need arises.  What we need:  Small toys, books or small stuffed toys, juvenile fabric, small pillows, sewers to make pillow cases or pillows.  If you are interested, call 693-4274.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY Due to the economy there are more families than ever before who are not able to buy gifts at Christmas for their children.  Carolina Baptist Association provides toys for these families and we share the love of Christ with the parents.  There were 4 professions of faith last year.  Last year we collects toys not only at Christmas time, but in July and it worked out very well.  Please collect NEW toys (birth-16 yrs. old) in July an deliver to the association in August. 
COLLECTION FOR LUKE 19:12 16 Boxes of Sunday school materials, VBS materials and devotionals were collected and delivered in April and 20 boxes in June.
CONTINUING EDUCATION AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR AREA CHURCH MUSICIANS Rev. Chris Roberts, Professor of Music, will be teaching Music 301 in the Fall Quarter of 2010 at Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute.  10 week class will begin on Oct. 7 and run through Dec. 16.  Call 685-8886 for more information.

FRUITLAND SATELLITE PROGRAM Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute will begin satellites by October.  Two Hispanic satellites will open in July, one in Winston-Salem and one in Warsaw at Eastern Baptist Association.  The third satellite, to be open by October, will be in Union Baptist Association in Monroe.

OPERATION BANDANA - SOLDIER'S PSALM 91 The Associational WMU has an on-going ministry to servicemen to offer inspiration, encouragement, strength and comfort.  Camouflage bandana's are purchased in bulk for $3 each with Psalm 91 printed on them.  These bandana's are given to service men and women by chaplains to spread the gospel and are useful to cover their face from the sand and dust; are used for sweat rags; used for an emergency wrap for a splint, sling or tourniquet.  This is an easy way for us to show our appreciation and minister to those who are putting their life in harms way for America.  Please write a check to Carolina Baptist Association and earmark it:  Operation Bandana.  If you have any questions, call Annette Heatherly at 290-2584.  Visit www.operationbandanas.org to learn more about the Psalm 21 bandana ministry.
