DISASTER TRAINING The next training for disaster relief in our area is May 16-17 (region 8) and June 6-7 (region 10).  We region 9, so we have the option to choose from region 8 or 10 for training. Call Boyce Brogden at 329-3113 for more information.
ELECTRICIAN NEEDED The association garage that will store our concession and disaster recovery trailers still needs electricity.  If you know of a licensed electrician who would donate their service as a ministry, (the association will pay for the materials), please call 693-4274.

NC BAPTIST MISSIONS CONFERENCE Calvary Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, February 29-March 1, 2008.  A great program has been planned.  Highlights will be Mark Lowry, Anne Graham Lotz, Terry Rae, the Annie Moses Band, breakout sessions, volunteer suppers, testimonies, mission fairs exhibits and much more!  Registration is required so please check the link:  http://www.ncmissions.org/events/ev_conference.aspx.
OPERATION INASMUCH- North Carolina Baptist Men is partnering with Operation Inasmuch, Inc. to organize a "one day missions blitz" across the state of North Carolina on April 19, 2008.  The goal is to reach all 100 North Carolina counties with the gospel through hands-on mission service.  We believe that God can use this event to mobilize thousands of volunteers to share His love all across our state.  More information and trailing will be scheduled in the future.

SCHOLARSHIPS GRANTED- Carolina Baptist Association granted 5 camp and 15 mission scholarships in January.
SENIOR ADULT DAYCARE - We need a large house or a small warehouse to establish the Carolina Senior Adult Day Care.  This new ministry needs a home!!!  We can give a full tax write off.  Call Sandy Beck at 693-4274 if you have a place or know of a place for this day care.
