About Fletcher First Baptist Church
Our church was organized as the Salem Baptist Church in 1838. We have a
rich heritage and are truly thankful. We still cling to the old paths,
wherein is the good way. By the good grace of our God we will continue
to walk therein. Our message is about abiding in His love, maintaining
the joy of the Lord and reaching the lost. Fletcher First Baptist Church
is our Father's House. He also bids you welcome at His House; a House of
Prayer. It is dedicated to Him for His Worship, His Work and His Will in
order to accomplish His plan and fulfill His purpose.
A Note from the Pastor...
My sincere desire is that this local church will be a true witness of the
grace, forgiveness, peace, love and joy, which is given through our precious
Lord. This is His church. It is called by God, begotten by Jesus
Christ our Lord, and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said in
Matthew 16:18: "Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of
hell shall not prevail against it." Psalms 127:1 declares: "Except
the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the
Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."
