Prayer Walk Henderson County Schools
August 1 - 24, 2012
The Carolina Baptist Association Prayerwalking Team would like to
highly encourage your church to designated a day to prayerwalk
Henderson County schools anytime from August 1st through
August 24th. We will contact the school board and the law
enforcement agencies. My request to you is for you to cover the same
schools you did last year. This is important because that insures
that someone will be at each school.
We also encourage people to prayerwalk schools that they have
connections with, teachers, students, or employees. You are more
than welcome to prayerwalk any school you wish. After you finish
prayerwalking we would like to know how many people participated and
any stories you have.
If you have any questions, comments, or need further information you
can contact any of the below.
Sam Gibbs,
Prayer Team Leader, CBA, 828-699-4112
Association Office, 828-693-4274
Visit PrayNC.org and click on “Ministry Resources” to download a
free PowerPoint presentation to use in your church to explain and train
others in prayerwalking! You can also order “Prayerwalking Made Simple”
booklet for $7 for a 10 pk. This is a great booklet to lead a group to
prayerwalk schools. |

Prayer Team Mission
To see all the churches in the Carolina Baptist Association become
Houses of Prayer. "It shall be called a house of prayer..." Matthew
21:13
Purpose
Believing that active prayer is essential to the life of all
churches, the purpose of the CBA Prayer Team is to help all churches
in the association:
1. Encourage the personal prayer life of each of their members.
2. Promote family prayer, and
3. Promote prayer groups through planning implementation, teaching
and prayer emphasis programs.

wildlife officers, as well as the churches that are praying for
them. Develop relationships with departments that are involved and
seek ways to support these departments especially in times of
tragedy.
Military Team
Maintain a list of the military personnel and their families and make it
available for the churches. Be in contact with military families.
Encourage churches to set aside a day to recognize military
personnel and their families. Actively seek ways to support the
military personnel and their families.
