Ministry Opportunities:
We provide a Sunday morning worship service for adults
and youth. We provide children's worship service and a preschool program
during this time as well. We provide a Sunday evening Bible study for
adults and a youth program. Our Wednesday evening program consists of
Adult Bible Study, a youth program for grades 7-12, Awana for grades 1-6, and
Mission Friends for preschool children. We provide short time studies on
Christian life as wall as Bible studies. They range from 6 to 13 weeks
in length. We have an ongoing prayer ministry praying for needs around
the world.
About West Hendersonville
Support all mission programs of the Southern Baptist
Convention plus a number of local missions. Our worship style is
traditional for the most part. Our emphasis is on Bible teaching for all
age groups and then living that teaching daily in our world. We teach
that every believer must live the Christian lifestyle in the home and the
market place.
History of West Hendersonville
West Hendersonville was established in 1934 as a result
of times of prayer for our service men. The original church building was
located on White Street. We moved to our present location in May of
1974, located at the corner of Hebron and Willow Road. Our church has
been responsible for the establishing and building of churches in West
Virginia. We also help support a pastor in West Virginia.
A Note from the Pastor...
You are invited to attend West Hendersonville Baptist
Church which provides Bible study for all age groups. A children's
worship and traditional adult and youth worship. We have informal
worship and Bible study on Sunday evenings. You are invited to attend
our Wednesday program for the entire family. West Hendersonville is a
very warm and loving fellowship. If you have questions about our church,
please call our church office Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 1:00 and we
will do our best to answer your questions.
